Paamul is actually an rv park - one of very few rv parks in this part of Mexico. Long term and returning residents have discovered that building a palapa (thatched grass structure) over the trailer provides shade from the sun and a feeling of your own little spot in paradise. We have cable TV, phone service and internet available here. (wireless is also available) |
If you crave beach isolation, pristine Yan-Ten beach is located right here. YanTen is a great isolated stretch of beach to walk, jog, swim, snorkel, fish, collect seashells and spend some quiet relaxing time to yourself.

Affordable tropical living in an age when beach homes are seldom affordable. If you enjoy camping or rv-ing, this can be your home away from home. Or you can be like some adventurous types, and make this place your full-time home. Paamul residents are comprised of retirees, part-time residents and a few younger families who live here full time. | If you don't own your own camper or rv, there are some of the Paamul palapas that are currently for sale, they may include the trailer under the palapa. Some palapas are directly on the beach, while others are just a few feet away.
